Must Have
Graduate of an accredited school of Advanced Practice Registered Nursing, Current Advanced Practice Registered Nurse License in the state of employment, End-of-Life Nursing Education Program (ELNEC) – all 8 modules completed within 18 months of hire, Valid driver’s license, good driving record, reliable transportation, Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, Must clear criminal background check, physical, drug screening
Nice to Have
Certification in Hospice and Palliative Nursing
What You'll Do.
Perform comprehensive nursing assessments
Assess signs and symptoms of discomfort
Initiate and manage individualized plans of care
Provide direct face-to-face visits
Communicate with physicians regarding patient updates
Maintain knowledge of state and federal regulations
Participate in Quality Assessment and Performance Improvement (QAPI) programs
Ensure all services comply with hospice standards
