What They're Looking For.
Must Have
6-10 years of directly related sales experience for alternative investment strategies, Demonstrated track record of success in identifying and building long-term professional and raising experience with family offices, RIAs and endowments and foundations, Possess excellent knowledge of alternative investment strategies (including private equity, real estate, hedge funds, and credit), capital markets, portfolio management and asset allocation, Comfort engaging with clients, including family office Chief Investment Officers, in solutions-oriented effectively position the firm’s varied products and solutions to help clients reach their investment objectives, Desire to work both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment, and collaborate across business units, Deep understanding of trends and buying behavior for institutional quality investors, as it relates to their use of alternative investments within existing asset allocation, communication and presentation skills, coupled with the ability to effectively position Blackstone and its capabilities to investors, organizational ability to prioritize targets and handle a busy calendar of clients meetings, Client-oriented; leveraging effective relationship management and interpersonal skills, with a considerable understanding of how to achieve targeted levels of client confidence, Self-starter, entrepreneurial and goal oriented, with a high level of accountability and drive

Build 360-degree dialogue with clients
Deliver customized access to Blackstone’s platform
Establish and deepen relationships with UK clients
Grow assets under management
Communicate offerings to prospective clients
Identify and cultivate high quality relationships
Create meaningful relationships with family offices
Understand and communicate complex alternative investment capabilities
Explain how Blackstone’s solutions compare to competitors
Maintain a high level of prospecting activity
Obtain feedback from families on Blackstone’s offerings
Partner with Blackstone’s marketing team
Develop collateral material and communications
Participate strategically in industry conferences
