What They're Looking For.
Must Have
2+ years of experience with privacy or information security in a professional or nonprofit environment, Knowledge of privacy laws and standards such as the Privacy Act, E-Government Act of 2002, or NIST SP 800-53 Revision 5, Ability to draft various documents for various audiences, including Privacy Threshold Analyses (PTAs) and Privacy Impact Assessments (PIAs), Ability to execute against clear objectives, priorities, deadlines, and success metrics or KPIs, Ability to work autonomously, as well as closely with project teams, stakeholders, and team leads, Public Trust, Associate's degree
Nice to Have
Experience with law or public policy, Experience with the Security Assessment and Authorization (SA&A) process, Experience monitoring, analyzing, and ensuring compliance with federal privacy laws and policies, including the Privacy Act of 1974, the E-Government Act of 2002, and privacy-related guidance by the Office of Management and Budget, Experience assisting with developing, updating, and implementing privacy-related policies, procedures, and guidance, Experience analyzing current and planned policies and activities, Experience assessing compliance with privacy requirements, Bachelor's degree
