We’re looking for a**Principal Experience Designer** to join the Forma Design team, shaping the future of early-stage planning and design in the AEC (Architecture, Engineering, Construction) industry. It doesn’t matter if you call yourself a UX designer, product designer, digital designer, or something in-between. We are looking for someone to fit a senior individual contributor role with broad product scope, strong cross-team influence, and a focus on elevating design quality and coherence. In this role, you will lead design for complex product areas within the Forma platform, driving high-quality, scalable user experiences. You’ll operate at both strategic and execution levels, partnering closely with Product, Engineering, Research, and AI agents to define direction and deliver impactful solutions. You will join a close-knit design community of 20 designers who actively collaborate, share feedback, and support each other in raising the bar for design quality. **Required** * 8+ years of experience in experience design, product design, UX or similar * Proven experience leading design processes for complex digital products * Ability to work across strategy and detailed execution * Translate product vision and user needs into clear experience strategies and solutions * Experience collaborating and leading design in cross-functional product teams * Strong communication and stakeholder management skills. You influence decisions through clear communication, prototyping, and storytelling * Experience working with or contributing to design systems **Preferred** * Demonstrated AI fluency in your own work: you've used AI to unlock capabilities you didn't have before and can show a clear before/after in how you operate as a designer * Visual design skills * Interest or background in AEC, construction technology, early-stage design workflows, or related domains ****Lear
