Full Job Description

The Ring devices team is looking for a seasoned Principal Technical Program Manager to help our multi-site hardware/software development teams deliver complex Home Security products for our customers. You will spearhead end-to-end HW/SW product development. Working closely with our global teams, you will plan and coordinate the execution of complex business needs while simultaneously keeping your team focused on meeting their commitments. You will engage with highly experienced cross-disciplinary staff to transform concepts into products. Technical Program Managers at Ring must be capable of sorting through many competing priorities, defining processes that improve execution, championing engineering best practices, executing with agility, and succeeding in a complex and fast-paced environment. You will have true ownership of the product, presenting a unique opportunity to make a direct impact on Ring products and features. If this challenge excites you, we'd like to talk to you. Key job responsibilities Own end to end product development from concept all the way to launch Collaborate closely with Business and Engineering to properly understand the business case and technical constraints Work with remote and multi-site teams to deliver related system software components while managing the timelines to match hardware development and launch requirements Stakeholder Management: Communicate regularly with C-suite on status, risks, and change control Where needed, improve processes for completeness and better efficiency Dive deep into the software/hardware technical details of a product Proactively solve day-to-day challenges and exercise sound judgment A day in the life Solving unique development problems with the team while maintaining the timelines to meet business goals.
