Full Job Description
Amazon Manufacturing Services (AMS) is seeking an exceptional Principal Technical Program Manager to lead the end-to-end program execution for our next-generation advanced manufacturing facility. This role will serve as the single-threaded leader responsible for orchestrating all aspects of a complex, multi-year greenfield manufacturing site launch, ensuring on-time delivery with the capabilities needed to support scaled production of material handling equipment and industrial products. Key job responsibilities Program Leadership & Execution - Serve as the single-threaded leader for the complete manufacturing facility launch program, owning all aspects of planning, execution, and delivery - Drive program strategy and execution across multiple concurrent workstreams including site selection, construction coordination, systems integration, workforce development, and operational readiness - Establish and maintain program governance structures, including executive reporting, risk management frameworks, and decision-making processes - Own the critical path and ensure all dependencies are identified, tracked, and resolved to meet launch timelines - Lead cross-functional alignment across 10+ stakeholder organizations including systems engineering, software engineering, facilities, real estate and construction, procurement, PXT, legal, safety, and finance Greenfield Site Launch Management - Lead all aspects of greenfield manufacturing facility establishment from site selection through operational launch - Coordinate with real estate stakeholders (FTR) and construction managers to ensure timely completion of building infrastructure to specification - Partner with construction teams to align facility delivery schedules with equipment installation and commissioning timelines - Drive facility readiness activities including safety certifications, environmental compliance, and operational infrastructure deployment - Manage permitting processes and regulatory compliance requiremen
