Full Job Description

One Material Handling System (OMHS) is building Amazon's in-house material handling capabilities, transforming how Amazon designs, builds, and operates its facilities. As Amazon's internal material handling system integrator, we combine precision in technical project management with the vision needed to revolutionize our material handling capabilities. We are seeking a talented and motivated Principal Technical Infrastructure Program Manager who will exemplify ownership of their assigned material handling projects, ensuring successful implementation across Amazon's network. Our P-TIPM works closely with WWDE, Operations Engineering, strategic suppliers, and cross-functional teams to deliver complex material handling systems. This role requires both strategic vision and tactical execution to standardize project delivery while maintaining the high standards that complex material handling systems demand. You will drive projects through our comprehensive Project Lifecycle Framework, from initiation through commissioning and handover, while helping establish the processes and playbooks that will enable OMHS to scale across Amazon's network. Key job responsibilities In partnership with WWDE, Operations Engineering, and strategic suppliers, this individual will drive the execution strategy for material handling system implementations. This position will provide project leadership throughout the entire lifecycle of specific project(s) of a particular building type (ARS, SSD, AMZL, IXD). - You will serve as the single-threaded leader between engineering teams, operations, and implementation partners. - You will lead cross-functional communications and strategic planning for material handling system deployment, determine KPIs, and drive standardization initiatives. You must be obsessed with execution excellence, creating mechanisms and processes that increase velocity while maintaining quality. You will be key in assisting in the development of our Project Lifecycle Framework
