What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent, 15+ years experience, Experience and thorough understanding of Network/L7 security technologies such as NG Firewall, IDS/IPS systems (commercial/open source)Application identification, SSL Proxy, SDWAN, Web Proxy, User Firewall, Excellent analytical and problem solving skills, Experience in automation/scripting and programming languages like Python/TCL/Perl/Shell with excellent command on Regular Expressions and good knowledge of UNIX/LINUX internals, Good understanding of TCP/IP protocol suite and Linux working knowledge, Ability to research functional specifications, RFCs, other technical documentation and create effective, efficient, innovative solutions
Nice to Have
Experience/exposure to L7 protocols such as HTTP, SMB, DNS, SMTP, and IMAP is a plus, Knowledge and working experience in AI/ML/DL area is a plus

Maintains documentation of test results to assist in debugging and modification of software
