What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience OR an Advanced Degree and minimum 5 years of experience OR in absence of a degree, 12 years of relevant experience, Ability to obtain a U. S. Government DoD Secret Clearance, U. S. citizenship is required, Ability to lead a multidisciplinary teams of design professionals including Electrical, Mechanical, Software, Test, Logistics and other System Engineers, Practical experience in at least three of the following areas: Systems Engineering, Test Engineering, Software Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Extensive experience across the Systems Engineering V with an emphasis on integration and test, Experience writing and reviewing BOEs, Experience leading discussions with customers and vendors/subcontractors
Nice to Have
Active and transferable U. S. Government DoD T Secret Security Clearance, Experience with voice communication systems, including VoIP (Voice over IP) protocols like SIP, RTP and SRTP, Familiarity with multicast networking (e. g. , IGMP, PIM) for efficient data transmission in communication systems, understanding of networking principles, including TCP/IP, UDP, and network troubleshooting tools (e. g. , Wireshark), Knowledge of military specifications (e. g. , MIL-STD-810, MIL-STD-461) for designing rugged and reliable systems
