8 years of related experience with bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related technical, 6 years of related experience with master’s degree in engineering or a related technical, 4 years of related experience with PhD in engineering or a related technical, 5 years of related experience with bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related technical, 3 years of related experience with master’s degree in engineering or a related technical, 1 year of related experience with PhD in engineering or a related technical, US Citizen with active DoD Secret Clearance, DoD Secret Clearance investigation date within last 6 years, Minimum 2 years working experience on ICBMs, Minimum 2 years Systems Engineering experience, Minimum 2 years of DOORS or related experience, Direct development experience of interface products, Direct development experience of requirement specifications, Demonstrated proficiency in analytical thinking, Demonstrated proficiency in problem-solving skills, Demonstrated proficiency in Systems Thinking mindset, Experience creating and executing to schedule, Experience creating and executing to technical recovery plans, Work ethic, Ability to work self-sufficiently, Experience working across program organizations, Excellent decision making skills, Excellent communication skills

Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking a **Principal or Sr. Principal Systems Engineer** to work with our Sentinel Systems Engineering, Integration, & Test (SEIT) Business Unit and be a contributing member of the System Integration and Sustainment (SIS) Enterprise Systems Integration team. This position may be located either in **Huntsville, AL or Roy, UT** and will support the Sentinel (GBSD) program. This multi-tiered and multi-disciplined team assesses external interfaces and mission scenario operational threads across the Weapon System (WS). The team serves as system integrators to facilitate systems of systems interoperability and joint systems integration in partnership with customer counterparts and other key stakeholders across the enterprise. The selected candidate will work in a dynamic people-focused environment.
