What They're Looking For.
Must Have
10+ years of professional experience in data center power infrastructure, electrical engineering, and/or power distribution design, Deep understanding of existing data center architectures, Experience with product design, development and deployment, Experience working with hyperscale data center owners, col-location companies, design-builders, general contractors, and the major electrical OEM’ s, Expertise in low and medium voltage (480V-35kV) power systems, Experience working with data center customers to understand their needs, Understanding of data center electrical infrastructure, Knowledgeable about NEC, IEEE, NFPA, and Uptime Institute Tier Standards, Outstanding communicator (written and verbal), Ability to manage a diverse set of opinions, advice, and recommendations and resolve conflicts effectively, Commitment to buying into VEIR’s mission and goals and adopting our core values
Nice to Have
Knowledge of superconducting cable technology, Knowledge of power infrastructure needs of data centers, Experience with superconducting power solutions, Expertise to design power distribution solutions that integrate HTS cables with medium voltage (MV) switchgear, transformers, and circuit breakers, Experience working with hyperscale, colocation, and enterprise data center customers, Experience supporting the development of next generation of products

Contribute to VEIR booking pilot project
Design power distribution solutions
Integrate HTS cables with switchgear
Conduct technical assessments
Conduct feasibility studies
Conduct proof-of-concept projects
Demonstrate benefits of VEIR’s technology
Understand customer power infrastructure needs
Understand customer pain points
Understand customer future growth strategies
Contribute to execution of commercial project
