What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Bachelor's degree in Engineering and 8 or more years of experience in an engineering, manufacturing operations, quality or similar environment OR advanced degree and 5 or more years of experience in an engineering, manufacturing operations, quality or similar environment, Experience in Microsoft Office Suite, Working Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles, Nadcap Heat Treatment
Nice to Have
Demonstrated experience meeting commitments in a deadline driven ability to balance and resolve conflicting priorities, Working knowledge of AS9100, Proficiency in Epicor ERP, Certified Quality Engineer or Lean Six-Sigma Black Belt, Practical experience in APQP techniques, Aluminum Brazing, Experience with Data and Statistics analysis
What You'll Do.
Review customer quality/industry specification requirements
Ensure product compliance and controls are flowed down
apply and maintain quality evaluation
control systems and protocols
methods and equipment to assure product reliability
Identify and manage risk in product development
Perform Escape management procedures
and recommend corrective action
Ensure all requirements are met for work transfer and process change management
Responsible for Program and Production Quality Engineering
Develop new inspections methodologies to assure product conformance
Analyze data to facilitate process assist with process certification projects
Implement process develop and stand up methods of process certification and control
Participate in Quality Clinic and Material Review Board
Support certification

Collaborates internally to ensure quality standards are in effect; Work with a multifunctional team to improve Quality-focused business metrics
Process & Methodology
Risk management, Product development, PPAP core elements, Process change management, Resourcing Gate, Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) acceptance
