What They're Looking For.
Must Have
U. S. Person status, Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience, Familiarity with ANSI Y14. 5M-1982 (drawing interpretation), Experience with hydraulic mechanical system design, analysis, and verification, Experience with designing mechanical assemblies with standard parts (seals, screws, bearings, plugs and pin), Experience in the use of typical Microsoft Office programs such as: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Explorer, oral and written communication skills, Ability to present to customers, operators, and all levels of leadership internally & externally, Experience with CAD software, Capable to lead technical teams
Nice to Have
Mechanical Engineering degree, Familiarity with FAA requirements, Experience with Siemens NX (Unigraphics), Hydraulic system analyses (lapped fit leakage, orifice flow, system pressure drop analyses, design for valve/system stability), Design analyses (structural hand calculations, FEA, thermal analysis, tolerance stack-up, etc.), Aerospace experience, Engineering and RRCA (relentless root cause analysis) investigations, Full life cycle engineering experience
