Full Job Description
US Prime is seeking an experienced and accomplished Principal Product Manager to lead the early engagement charter for Prime in the US. Amazon Prime was launched in the US in 2005 as a subscription service and has since evolved to serve diverse member cohorts with varying needs and preferences. We have successfully grown our membership base across different demographics and life stages and are seeking a seasoned Principal PM who can drive early engagement strategies for the membership program. In this role you will lead defining the vision for engaging new Prime members early in their journey to drive Prime GMS and longer term retention. You will partner with Consumer Insights and BI teams to understand what behaviors drive higher engagement and convince new Prime customers to keep enjoying their Prime membership and partner with stakeholder teams to drive product roadmaps to launch experiments. You will lead measuring performance of product launches by various customer cohorts and accordingly drive custom roadmaps by cohorts to increase efficiency. You will set-up mechanisms to drive performance and track execution of these plans. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated success with writing PRFAQs and BRDs, leading product roadmaps and managing complex product deliverables across a wide variety of functional stakeholders. You will have experience developing product strategies, insights, and mechanisms that align multi-functional partners against cohort-specific objectives. You will have exceptional communication skills and the ability to influence and present to senior leadership (L10/L11), including the ability to distill complex cohort data into clear strategic narratives. You will be a self-starter who has demonstrated the ability and desire to dive deep to audit and optimize product performance and processes.
