Full Job Description

Amazon's Device Software & Services organization (DS2) is the platform layer beneath every Kindle, Echo, Fire TV, and Fire Tablet sold worldwide. We own the foundational services powering device identity, registration, telemetry, and lifecycle management for hundreds of millions of devices. The landscape is shifting fast: AI is redefining how customers interact with devices and user identity. Security architectures are evolving to meet new threats and multi-account models. DS2 needs to define the next generation of platform services that meet the changing needs of our business and customers across Amazon's entire device portfolio. We need a product leader who can drive that shift. What You'll Own As a Principal PMT on the DS2 team, you'll be the strategic product leader connecting DS2's platform capabilities to measurable business outcomes across Amazon's largest device product lines. This is a high-visibility role where you'll: • Define the identity product strategy DS2 drives with VP-level leaders across Echo, Fire TV, Kindle, Tablet, and eReader, translating platform investments into language product lines care about: customer reach, CX quality, and revenue impact. • Build the insights pipeline that connects product-line customer needs to DS2 prioritization. You'll own the success metrics, analytical frameworks, and mechanisms that ensure DS2 builds what matters most. • Own the product vision for transforming the device customer support experience, a space where DS2 platform gaps directly drive millions of customer contacts annually. You'll partner across security, CS, product lines, and engineering to close critical CX gaps through self-service, automation, and smarter platform primitives. • Lead cross-portfolio identity initiatives spanning 20+ partner teams across Amazon and require influence without direct authority. You'll work alongside a team of PMTs, with regular engagement with Principal Engineers, VP-level stakeholders, and cross-functional leaders acro
