You will be responsible for designing, testing and sustaining Variable Speed Drives (VSD) for chiller applications. This team conducts design, simulation, prototype testing, reliability testing and confirms that the product operates as expected with reference to specific documented hardware requirements. This position is located onsite in New Freedom, PA. Candidates must be commuting distance, or able to relocate. **How you will do it** * Serve as technical expert within Power Electronics Department that is responsible to design, test, and maintain power electronics products and systems for Johnson Controls’ chiller applications. * Determine the best techniques, procedures and/or theories as they apply to the development of power electronics products and systems. * Create compliance procedures for the development of electrical/electronic circuitry designs. * Define and interpret design specifications; design electrical/electronic circuitry to meet specified requirements; and analyzes product design requirements and recommen
