What They're Looking For.
Must Have
10+ years of experience in a similar role, Design documentation of mechanical components of multi-disciplinary infrastructure projects in a consultancy environment, Associate Degree or Advanced Diploma of Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent qualification), Significant experience as a senior mechanical designer, Knowledge of 3D mechanical design software, Advanced understanding of Engineering principles, Ability to produce large / complex design projects using AutoCAD, Inventor and/or Navisworks, Understanding and familiarity with applicable legislation and technical standards / guidelines, Client management capabilities, Written and verbal communication skills
Nice to Have
Willingness to coach junior designers with advice on solutions, Develop fit-for-purpose solutions to engineering problems
What You'll Do.
Lead civil and mechanical pipeline design
Design multi-disciplinary complex projects
Provide high level technical support
Mechanical design of supporting works
Preparation of construction documentation
Preparation for ‘For Review’ deliverables
Contribute to technical innovation
Review of design and drafting documentation
Support well-being of junior team members
Participate in client management
