What They're Looking For.
Must Have
10 + years of relevant experience in Industrial Design, Proven Track Record with a portfolio of successful, high-volume consumer hardware products, Exceptional hands-on skills in sketching, visualisation, and physical prototyping (including hand-sculpting in foam), Deep understanding of anthropometrics, ergonomics, and the iterative digital-to-physical workflow required for handheld devices, Expert-level proficiency in surface CAD, Excellent working knowledge of Rhino, SolidWorks, Alias, Fusion or Creo Parametric, Class-A surfacing principles, Experience exchanging high-quality 3D files with mechanical engineers and CAD specialists, Working expertise in Materials, Colours and Finishes, Working expertise in Design for Manufacturing, Working expertise in EVT/DVT/PVT build processes, Comfortable integrating AI tools (e.g., Vizcom, Gemini, Magnific) into ideation and concept visualisation workflows, Able to craft compelling design narratives and present persuasively to stakeholders at all levels, Highly driven, collaborative, and a proactive self-starter, Bachelor's degree or higher in Industrial Design, Product Design, or a related field
