What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Bachelor's in Civil / Geotechnical, 12–15 years in geotechnical design and investigation, Proven track record on complex infrastructure and building projects, Working knowledge of AASHTO, ASTM, and IBC, Working knowledge of Eurocode 7 (EC7), English proficiency
Nice to Have
Master's degree, Familiarity with BS standards, International accreditations from reputable institutions, such as ICE
What You'll Do.
Lead delivery of complex geotechnical scopes
Provide technical authority over design decisions
Mentor a team of engineers
Serve as geotechnical interface with clients
Develop specifications for surveys
Prepare construction specifications
Prepare Instrumentation & Monitoring specifications
Prepare Geotechnical Interpretative Reports
Prepare Geotechnical Design Reports
Prepare Desk Study Reports
Develop geotechnical chapters in reports
Develop pile load test interpretation reports
Contribute to technical proposals
Review method statements
Review final GIR/GFR reports
Review I&M data against trigger levels
Review specialist contractor submissions
Conduct in-house QA/QC
Conduct external peer reviews
Lead and mentor engineers
Manage workstream scope
Attend and lead meetings
Coordinate across disciplines
Contribute to business development
Manage client relationships
Prepare technical proposals
Represent firm in technical presentations
Represent firm in design workshops
Represent firm in value engineering sessions
