Key job responsibilities Develop and establish strategy of new fiber optic and passive infrastructure designs, driving vendor roadmaps, creating fiber testing standards, and deploying scalable implementation mechanisms and processes for network-wide deployment Design scalable test infrastructure and qualification procedures to automate fiber optic validation and qualification Design structured cabling systems (fiber, copper, cable trays/duct banks) for network layers at hyperscale data centers that improve deployment speed, reduce cost, and improve fungibility Solve ambiguous problems in both existing and new network architecture and system development initiatives, propose strategies and deliver architecture that have significant business and customer impact Drive discussions with customer and peers, influence partner and dependent organizations as a key influencer of team strategy Manage fiber vendors and contractors by establishing data-driven processes for quality control and commissioning of fib
