Must Have
14-17 years’ experience in conducting EIA, Environmental Desk Assessments experience, Environmental consenting and permitting experience, Environmental management plans experience for Infrastructure projects, Comprehensive understanding of environmental systems, Understanding of assessment methods for EIA, Commercial awareness, Ability to deliver scope against budgets and programme, Lead, implement and manage environmental assessments for infrastructure development projects, Develop commercial proposals for bids, Effectively delegate tasks, Provide technical and supervisory guidance, Assist with development of proposals, Assist with qualification documents, Assist with business development activities, Demonstrable ability to effectively communicate environment issues, Organise and manage large / strategic environmental projects, Motivate junior members of the environmental team, Mentor junior members of the environmental team, Provide guidance to junior members of the environmental team, Excellent project management skills, Technical delivery skills, Management of finances skills, Client liaison skills, Programme delivery skills on complex projects, Programme delivery skills on multi-disciplinary projects, Excellent organisational skills, Excellent technical skills, Excellent numerical skills, Excellent communication skills, Logical thinking skills, Concise reporting skills, Excellent working knowledge of planning legislation, Excellent working knowledge of environmental legislation, Demonstrable understanding of technical guidance, Demonstrable understanding of industry standards, Demonstrable understanding of best practice, Demonstrable understanding of preparation of EIAs

What You'll Do.

How You'll Work.
Team & Collaboration
Act as a key interface between the UK and India PECC teams; Liaison with clients, stakeholders, regulators, sub-contractors and other internal disciplines; Working with the local and wider AtkinsRéalis teams across the UK; Provide technical support and mentoring to more junior members of the environmental team; Effectively delegate tasks and activities to intermediate and junior staff; Providing technical and supervisory guidance on assigned tasks; Assist with and, as necessary, taking a lead role in the development of proposals, qualification documents and other business development related activities; Support junior staff to contribute to the bidding process; Work with the team to maintain productivity; Provide encouragement and support to enable the team to maximise its full potential

Excellent communication skills; Demonstrable ability to effectively communicate environment issues, approaches and solutions pragmatically with project managers, engineers, designers, and clients; Combines excellent communication skills to demonstrate logical thinking and concise reporting
