What They're Looking For.
Must Have
14-17 years’ experience in conducting EIA, Environmental Desk Assessments, Environmental consenting and permitting, Environmental management plans for Infrastructure projects, Comprehensive understanding of environmental systems, Assessment methods for EIA, Commercial awareness, Ability to deliver defined scope of work against agreed budgets and programme, Lead, implement and manage all aspects of environmental assessments for infrastructure development projects in accordance with UK environmental regulations, Develop commercial proposals for bids and enquiries, Effectively delegate tasks and activities to intermediate and junior staff, Providing technical and supervisory guidance on assigned tasks, Assist with and, as necessary, taking a lead role in the development of proposals, qualification documents and other business development related activities, Post Graduate Degree qualified in a relevant engineering or science subject, Organisation, collation and assessment of desk-based information as part of Desk Studies, Demonstrable ability to effectively communicate environment issues, approaches and solutions pragmatically with project managers, engineers, designers, and clients, Capable of organising and managing large / strategic environmental projects, Motivate, mentor, and provide guidance to junior members of the environmental team, Excellent project management skills, Technical delivery, Management of finances, Client liaison, Programme delivery on complex and/or multi-disciplinary projects, Excellent organisational skills, Excellent technical skills, Excellent numerical skills, Excellent communication skills, Logical thinking, Concise reporting, Excellent working knowledge and demonstrable understanding of relevant planning and environmental legislation, Technical guidance and industry standards / best practice, Preparation of EIAs

How You'll Work.
Team & Collaboration
Act as a key interface between the UK and India PECC teams; Liaison with clients, stakeholders, regulators, sub-contractors and other internal disciplines; Working with the local and wider AtkinsRéalis teams across the UK; Providing technical support and mentoring to more junior members of the environmental team; Effectively delegate tasks and activities to intermediate and junior staff; Providing technical and supervisory guidance on assigned tasks; Assist with and, as necessary, taking a lead role in the development of proposals, qualification documents and other business development related activities; Communicate environment issues, approaches and solutions pragmatically with project managers, engineers, designers, and clients; Motivate, mentor, and provide guidance to junior members of the environmental team
