Team & Collaboration

Act as a key interface between the UK and India PECC teams; Liaison with clients, stakeholders, regulators, sub-contractors and other internal disciplines; Working with the local and wider AtkinsRéalis teams across the UK; Provide technical support and mentoring to more junior members of the environmental team; Effectively delegate tasks and activities to intermediate and junior staff; Providing technical and supervisory guidance on assigned tasks; Assist with and, as necessary, taking a lead role in the development of proposals, qualification documents and other business development related activities; Support junior staff to contribute to the bidding process; Work with the team to maintain productivity; Provide encouragement and support to enable the team to maximise its full potential

### **Job Description** ## Overview We currently have an opportunity for a Principal Environment Consultant to join the AtkinsRéalis Global Technology Centre (GTC) in Mumbai, India, to provide support, guidance, and mentorship to junior members of the team. The GTC PECC team primarily work on UK projects and the successful candidate will need to demonstrate knowledge and experience of UK environmental legislation, particularly in relation to Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA). Opportunities to work on projects in other regions, such as the Middle East, Canada and others, may arise from time to time. The successful candidate will have an opportunity to work across numerous infrastructure sectors including, but not limited to, highways, rail, energy, renewables, water, and master planning. There will also be an opportunity to support the growth of wider services including Planning and Stakeholder Engagement. Experience of working across multiple sectors would be advantageous. We are looking for an experienced individual with a proven track record of working in an Environmental Consultancy, and ideally some experience of team management.
