What They're Looking For.

Must Have

Current, active in-scope DoD-issued Secret security clearance, Current active DoD 8140 certification at IAT Level II or higher (e.g., Security+, GSEC, SCNP, SSCP, CISSP, CISA, GSE, SCNA), Solid understanding of networking protocols and the OSI Model, Expertise in TCP/IP, BGP, and OSPF, Advanced troubleshooting of network traffic, Hands-on experience with Juniper firewalls, Hands-on experience with UDP multicast, SONET, MSPP, VLANs, GRE Tunnels, and TCP/IP network designs, Hands-on experience with Multi-vendor network equipment, optical transport equipment, TACLANEs, and WAN optimizers

Nice to Have

Prior experience working with C2BMC network infrastructure, Familiarity with Schriever Space Force Base operations and protocols

What You'll Do.

Serve as a primary Network Engineer and Developer to support network build-outs and operational environment deployments

and integrate complex designs related to network equipment

and long-term solutions

Ensure compliance with DoD security practices

including STIG compliance and system accreditation implementation

How You'll Work.

Team & Collaboration

Collaborate with the X-Lab Events Team to manage and support scheduled test events within deadlines; Represent the organization in resolving technical issues in customer-facing settings

Communication Scope

Written and verbal communication skills for documentation, presentations, and stakeholder engagements
