This is a hands‑on **Network Systems Engineer** role supporting the Triton program at **RAAF Tindal**. You’ll design, configure, test and troubleshoot secure, operational networks, working directly with Defence stakeholders and US‑based Northrop Grumman engineers. This is not BAU IT or a narrow support role. You’ll be on site, close to the system, with real ownership of network design decisions, performance and future capacity. The role is **based in Tindal** , supported by a **generous relocation package** and a genuine **cost‑of‑living advantage** compared to major cities. **Key Responsibilities** * Design and plan secure network communications systems * Produce network architecture specifications and detailed schematics * Select and implement hardware and software to meet current and future needs * Configure and integrate Triton network systems * Test network designs and validate performance * Troubleshoot complex connectivity and performance issues * Investigate anomalies and resolve root causes * Maintain accurate network documentation and baselines * Work directly with Defence and US engineering teams **About You** You’re an experienced network engineer who likes **owning the solution end‑to‑end** , from design through to implementation and fault‑finding.
