Principal Electronic Systems Design and Analysis Engineer **Company:** The Boeing Company Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA), is seeking highly driven and exceptional **Principal** **Electronic Systems Design and Analysis Engineer** to join the **777X/787 Integrated Modular Avionics team** in **Everett, WA**. **_Position Overview:_** All projects focus on design, development, and production support of Integrated Modular Avionics (IMA) Platform Architecture and Airplane Electronic Hardware (AEH) & Software. Responsibilities include translation of concepts and high-level requirements to specific architectures and operational specifications, and the integration of avionics systems and components into our complex airplanes. Work with a global team and supplier base to implement system hardware and software. Verify designs through both laboratory and airplane testing. Work with airplane systems from initial concept through certification, delivery, and in-service life. Within the Common Core System team, these positions may be assigned to work with: * Component design, development, and qualification. * System Requirements documentation, validation, and verification. * Support of System Safety Analysis and Safety of Flight determinations. * Support of computing hardware and software, and execution of ground-based software tools. **_Position Responsibilities_** _:_ * Works with customers to develop and document complex electronic and electrical system requirements. * Analyzes and translates requirements into system, hardware, and software designs and interface specifications. * Tests and validates to ensure system designs meet operational and functional requirements. * Monitors supplier performance to ensure system integration and compliance with requirements. * Solves problems concerning, and provides other support of, fielded hardware and software over the entire product lifecycle. **_Work Authorization:_** This position is expected to be 100% onsite.
