Must Have
STEM degree or Advanced Degree, minimum 8 years relevant experience, minimum 5 years relevant experience, Hardware domain knowledge, Proven CCA design experience, schematic capture and PCB layout tools, analog, digital and mixed signal design, PCB layout constraints experience, formal design reviews experience, interpret and decompose system requirements, technical leadership to engineering team
Nice to Have
Understanding of certification objectives, Understanding of Design to Cost, Design for Manufacturing, Design for Test, MPSoC-based architectures knowledge, hardware reference architectures establishment, product-line solutions development

The Computing Solutions Department (CSD) within Displays, Computing, and Networking (DCN) is seeking a Principal Electrical Engineer to support the development of next‑generation avionics computing platforms. Our platforms incorporate airborne electronic hardware such as FPGAs, ASICs, and MPSoCs, and interface with key avionics protocols including ARINC 429, Ethernet, AFDX, PCIe, CAN, RS‑232, DDR, I2C, and SPI.
