**Title:** Principal Electrical Engineer - Building Services We are seeking a highly experienced **Principal Electrical Engineer** to join our team covering defence, transport and water projects. In this role, you will lead and deliver electrical engineering studies, designs, and specifications across a diverse range of infrastructure and building projects. You will work with minimal supervision, provide high-level technical consultancy, guide junior engineers, and manage projects and proposals. This position involves close collaboration with multidisciplinary engineering teams and requires strong design expertise across electrical services for new construction, upgrades, and modifications. _YOU MUST BE AN AUSTRALIAN CITIZEN TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS ROLE_ **Key Responsibilities** **Technical Leadership & Design** * Lead, contribute to, and perform electrical engineering studies and detailed designs for buildings and infrastructure projects. * Deliver electrical services designs including internal/external lighting, LV distribution and reticulation, passive ICT infrastructure, security systems, backup power systems, and solar PV integration. * Prepare, verify, and self-check electrical design calculations using both manual and software assisted methods. * Guide designers and drafters in the preparation of drawings; review and approve documentation. * Prepare and review reports, technical specifications, and project documentation. **Project & Stakeholder Management** * Lead project teams to deliver major electrical work packages on large multidisciplinary projects. * Manage small to medium multidisciplinary building services projects end-to-end. * Liaise confidently with clients, statutory authorities, and external consultants to negotiate critical technical issues. * Support proposal preparation, project budgeting, and delivery to quality, cost, and time requirements. * Build and maintain a network of client contacts; participate in business development and marketin
