ABOUT THE ROLE ECU Lifecycle Ownership: Drive the EE development for next-generation platform ECUs from initial concept through mass production. Optimization & Efficiency: Lead initiatives to drive BOM cost down, improve hardware reliability/quality, and accelerate time-to-market through streamlined design cycles. Responsibilities - Process Leadership: Own the EE development process, establishing best practices for schematic capture, PCB layout, and Design for Manufacturing (DFM). - Cross-Functional Orchestration: Manage interfaces with a large matrix of key stakeholders, to ensure seamless system integration. - Resource Management: Leverage and direct both internal engineering talent and external Tier 1/2 partners to execute complex hardware roadmaps. - Subject Matter Expert: Provide expert-level review of EE schematics and data sheets for high-performance SoCs, MCUs, and FPGAs. - Validation Strategy: Partner with the Lab and Test teams to define ATE and HIL testing requirements that validate hardware stability across the full product lifecycle.
