What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Professional Engineer (PE) license in the State of Florida, Minimum 15 years of post-licensure experience in roadway design, significant experience on FDOT District 5 projects, Proficiency in MicroStation, OpenRoads Designer (ORD), FDOT CADD standards, understanding of FDOT design processes, Design-Build delivery methods, traditional delivery methods, Excellent communication skills, leadership skills, client management skills
Nice to Have
Familiarity with FDOT’s Basis of Estimates, Standard Plans, Structures Manual, Ability to lead QA/QC reviews, mentor junior engineers, Experience with MOT analysis, drainage design, geometric design

Participate in marketing efforts
Represent AtkinsRéalis at industry events
Collaborate with business development teams
Oversee design and delivery of roadway projects
Serve as Engineer of Record (EOR)
Manage multidisciplinary design teams
Develop and maintain relationships
Oversee preparation of design documents
Stay current with FDOT manuals
