What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Extensive experience designing and delivering modern data platforms and data engineering solutions at a Principal or Lead level, Deep expertise with Databricks, Spark, and lakehouse architecture, experience building scalable data pipelines and distributed data processing systems, Experience with data platform technologies such as Databricks, Snowflake, and modern cloud data ecosystems, cloud experience across AWS, Azure or GCP, Deep understanding of data modelling, data governance, and scalable data architectures, Experience integrating data platforms with AI/ML and analytics workloads, Skilled at defining technical strategy, setting engineering standards, and driving best practices across teams, Experience mentoring engineers and influencing technical decisions across multiple projects
Nice to Have
Passionate about building high-quality data platforms, reusable frameworks, and scalable engineering solutions, Excellent communicator and collaborator, able to translate complex technical concepts for stakeholders across engineering, product, and leadership teams

You will drive the development of Databricks-based lakehouse architectures, building robust data pipelines, scalable data products, and cloud-native data platforms that power advanced analytics and AI. You will work closely with architects, AI engineers, and product teams to deliver complex data solutions across the full lifecycle from data ingestion and transformation through to analytics, machine learning, and generative AI enablement.
