Job Title: Principal Data Center Mechanical (Design) Engineer EdgeConneX is seeking a visionary Principal Data Center Mechanical Engineer to define the mechanical architecture for our next-generation global data center standard. In this high-impact role, you will research and evaluate current and emerging cooling technologies, translate innovation into pragmatic, future‑proof designs, and set clear, scalable standards that balance build complexity, cost, and schedule. You’ll author and maintain design guidelines, templates, and best practices that our internal project engineering teams and external EPC partners will use worldwide. The ideal candidate brings deep technical rigor and international experience, yet embraces that there are multiple valid paths to a great solution—able to articulate trade-offs, align stakeholders, and drive consensus across diverse customer requirements.
