What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Minimum 9 years of experience in consulting or IT services, with at least 5 years focused on ServiceNow. Proven experience in leading large, complex, and multi-modular ServiceNow implementations. Deep expertise in the ServiceNow ecosystem, architecture, platform design, and technical implementation. ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) and at least one Certified Implementation Specialist certification (e.g., CIS-ITSM, CIS-ITOM or comparable). Profound knowledge of JavaScript, Glide API, and Web Services (e.g., REST and SOAP). Proficient in process modeling, process optimization, and translating business requirements into technical solutions. Very good German and English language skills. Experience with agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum or Kanban).
Nice to Have
Knowledge in multiple ServiceNow areas (ITSM, ITOM, CMDB, CSDM, GRC, HRSD, CSM, or Asset Management). Hands-on experience with platform implementation, data modeling, integrations, and IT service processes. Ability to communicate technical and strategic topics appropriately to C-level. A visionary, consulting-strong personality with ownership mentality and high quality standards. Experience in pre-sales, solution design, RFPs, or proposal processes. Enjoy leading teams technically, sharing knowledge, and developing consultants. Independent working style, strategic thinking, and teamwork.
What You'll Do.
Lead Architect and strategic advisor for clients, translating business strategies into scalable, secure, and sustainable ServiceNow solutions.
Accompanying international companies in the digital transformation of their IT and enterprise service processes.
Acting as a Trusted Advisor for stakeholders up to C-level.
Responsible for the technical and functional quality of complex customer projects.
Leading workshops for requirements gathering, process definition, reengineering, gap analysis, and solution architecture.
Developing ServiceNow target architectures, roadmaps, and technical specifications for enterprise-level implementations.
Acting as a Subject Matter Expert for multiple ServiceNow modules (ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, CSM, CMDB, CSDM).
Responsible for the conception of complex integrations and customer-specific applications on the ServiceNow platform.
Supporting pre-sales activities (solutioning, technical demos, effort estimations, architecture concepts).
Providing technical leadership and mentoring senior and junior consultants through coaching, quality assurance, and best practices.
Developing personal expertise and actively sharing knowledge within the team (mentoring, community, tools, methods, thought leadership).
