Must Have
Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering, 7+ years’ experience in the field of petroleum supply chain management and/or production accounting, Multi-project experience serving as a technical lead in systems implementations, Understand concepts of data collection and be able to manipulate data files and collection lists accurately, Fluency in English
Nice to Have
MS or PhD, Fluency in any other language
What You'll Do.
provide consulting to clients implementing software with a specific focus on the production accounting products: AspenTech Unified Reconciliation & Accounting and related families
undertake consulting services for AspenTech clients in the oil & gas and chemical industries
engage in projects around the world
deliver Industrial Data Management and MES technology to new and existing customers
become an expert in the configuration and use of our platform
onboard new customers and ensuring that all their requirements are met
work with internal product management
regularly communicate with customers via email
and face-to-face meetings
gather customer requirements and translating those into high-level solution designs for aspenONE MES products
define and implement data integration with external systems and aspenONE products
deliver technical documents such as Functional Specifications
Detailed Design Documents
as well as Site Acceptance Test Documents
play a leading role on projects
collaborate with the AspenTech Project Management team
involving technical to non-technical aspects of the project
formulate business processes to support the systems
work with clients to implement the systems and delivery of systems
commission the completed systems which may require on site monitoring and analysis
work closely with Project Managers to manage project budgets/schedules
participate in commercial proposal development and testing of software new releases
design and implement enterprise-wide visualization and collaboration solutions using AspenTech products
or 3rd party (e. g. PowerBI)
conduct demonstrations
requirements analysis and system design workshops
prepare and adjust training material for MES products and related integration
How You'll Work.
Team & Collaboration
work with internal product management, marketing, and sales teams; Demonstrate collaboration with the AspenTech Project Management team, Sales Team, involving technical to non-technical aspects of the project; cooperation with Project Managers and customers will be a key part of the role
Communication Scope
Demonstrable communication and coaching skills; good communication skills; capable to articulate clearly technical and functional concepts to customers and to colleagues

The successful individual will be responsible for undertaking consulting services for AspenTech clients in the oil & gas and chemical industries, with opportunities to engage in projects around the world. You will also be a key driving force in delivering Industrial Data Management and MES technology to new and existing customers. You will become an expert in the configuration and use of our platform, onboarding new customers and ensuring that all their requirements are met.
