Security clearance may be required., Vetting process delivered by United Kingdom Security Vetting (UKSV)., May require candidates to provide proof of residency in the UK of 5 years or longer.

What They're Looking For.

Must Have

A degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or equivalent., Chartered or Incorporated Civil/Structural Engineer., Proven experience in coordinating or managing a Civil Structural engineering design delivery team for a design consultancy including within a multi-disciplinary environment., Requires knowledge and practical experience in reinforced concrete and steel structures., Practical knowledge of current Eurocodes design codes and standards as well as industry best practices, including CDM Regulations., Ability to work independently with minimal technical guidance., Proficiency in applicable analytical software and related tools such as Tekla, Robot, or STAAD., Demonstrates communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts clearly and effectively within diverse multi-disciplinary teams.

Nice to Have

Knowledge of other international design codes such as American codes is also beneficial but not required., Experience in nuclear or defence projects is beneficial but not required., Experience in dynamic or seismic design is beneficial but not required.

Coordinate or manage a team of Civil Structural engineers

Deliver technical design work on complex projects

Produce and review technical deliverables

Provide technical input for Civil Structural aspects

Manage time and budgets to project milestones

Collaborate with client

or service activities

Provide mentorship to less experienced colleagues

Grow Civil Structural Engineering capabilities

Work independently with minimal technical guidance

Exercise personal judgement to solve difficult problems

Provide technical support for bid proposals

Work closely with a multi-disciplinary team

Deliver integrated design solutions

Adhere to quality assurance standards in design
