What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Bachelor's Degree or military experience, At least 3 years of risk management experience, At least 3 years of experience in organizational strategy, project management, or business analytics
Nice to Have
At least 4 years of experience in Risk Management, Compliance, or Audit, At least 3 years of physical security or corporate real estate experience, At least 1 year of experience working in Governance Risk and Compliance applications, At least 4 years of experience in creating and maintaining information in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, and Word) or Google Suite (Slides, Sheets, and Docs), Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), or Project Management Professional (PMP)
What You'll Do.
Ensuring the broader GWS organization remains well-managed and in compliance with organizational
and legal requirements
Build relationships and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders across multiple departments to understand processes and drive results
Proactively manage risk management initiatives
and activities in order to reduce the residual risk within the business
Provide risk advice and guidance to business areas
Execute deliverables that support internal governance processes
Act as issue manager on events and issues related to the business
including project management of remediation activities
Monitor for new applicable laws and implement processes / procedures to comply
Coordinate the delivery of materials requested in audits and exams
coordinating with various stakeholders across the lines of defense
Participate in and execute other special projects for the team on an as needed basis
