Must Have
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, 6 years applicable experience, State public policy work experience, Policy analysis experience, Skilled at informing and influencing audiences, Demonstrated experience working collaboratively, Exceptional, diplomatic interpersonal skills, Aptitude to apply non-partisan, evidence-based approach
Nice to Have
Experience with state regulatory matters, Experience working with state executive branch offices, Familiarity with advocacy/lobbying at state level, Experience building consensus, Experience partnering effectively with organizations
What You'll Do.
Foster work environment
Shape project's state-based outreach agenda
Design outreach strategy for state level
Establish and maintain relationships with partners
Develop targeted messaging for policymakers
Assist with research efforts
Convert study findings into recommendations
Lead outreach initiatives directed at policymakers
Support outreach strategies and initiatives
Identify potential contractors
Manage contracting process
Ensure deliverables completed on schedule
Facilitate collaboration for recommendations
Advise project leadership on strategic direction
Collaborate with colleagues to organize outreach
Support organization of convenings
Monitor policy changes in states
Brief project leadership on updates
