BS or Master’s degree or PhD in Electrical and/or Computer Engineering or Computer Science, 15+ years of experience in DRAM or NAND IPs or SoC or IP Design or Systems Architecture & Analysis for Client/Server/Mobile SoCs, Experience in CPU, GPU, Image Processor, AI Processors, DDR, or systems development, Experience in Client/Server/Mobile SoC or Memory Chip design or Systems development, Experience in KPI (Power, Performance, Thermal) analysis, Knowledge of Computer and Memory or Storage Architecture

10+ years of experience with Mobile or Client Platforms

Micron Technology’s MCBU (Mobile & Client Business Unit) Systems Lab is focused on performance and power efficiency of memory and storage devices for Edge platforms. As a Principal Architect, Edge Systems Architecture at Micron Technology, Inc., you will contribute to the development of new architectures and products using Micron’s next generation Memory/Storage solutions for Micron’s Mobile and Client Customers. **Responsibilities include, but not limited to** : * Defining Memory/Storage Systems’ architectural requirements with market competitive analysis for Mobile and Client platforms * Innovating new solutions to complex System level problems by collaborating with Engineering and Product Management teams with required System Level expertise i.e., SW and HW * Developing, evaluating and optimizing new memory/storage architectures that continuously improve cost, performance, power efficiency of Mobile and Client products * Defining cost, performance, power metrics for Edge platforms and quantifying solutions with justifying analysis * Understanding and improving Architecture of Memory/Storage Controllers for optimal performance * Evaluating and demonstrating architecture trade-offs that impact memory/storage subsystem performance **Successful candidate for this position will have the following:** * Must have a BS or Master’s degree or PhD in Electrical and/or Computer Engineering or Computer Science * 15+ years of experience in DRAM or NAND IPs or SoC or IP Design or Systems Architecture & Analysis for Client/Server/Mobile SoCs * Experience in CPU, GPU, Image Processor, AI Processors, DDR, or systems development * Experience in Client/Server/Mobile SoC or Memory
