1–2 years of experience in healthcare, pharmaceutical market research, consulting, or a related analytical role, Familiarity with primary market research methodologies, including survey design and execution, Experience with data analysis tools (e. g. , Excel, Python, or similar), Experience working with external vendors or research partners, Exposure to data visualization tools or techniques, advanced degree (MS, MPH, or similar) is a plus
What You'll Do.
Design and execute primary market research (PMR) studies
including survey and qualitative instrument development
Own end-to-end research execution
from aligning on research objectives through fielding
and final data delivery
Manage external research vendors
including scoping projects
and ensuring high-quality sample and data integrity
Conduct rigorous data quality control and validation to ensure reliability of primary research outputs
Analyze and synthesize research findings into clear
actionable insights that directly support investment decision-making
Collaborate cross-functionally with TechAtlas
Quantitative Research
and Ventures teams to translate investment theses into well-defined research questions
Leverage AI tools to enhance workflows
including survey design
proactively identify opportunities for automation and efficiency gains
Develop clear and compelling deliverables
including visualizations and presentations that communicate insights effectively to internal stakeholders
How You'll Work.
Team & Collaboration
Collaborate cross-functionally with TechAtlas, Equity Research, Quantitative Research, and Ventures teams; Collaborate daily with investors, founders, physicians, biologists, engineers, economists, and reform advocates; ability to work across multidisciplinary teams
Communication Scope
Clear and concise communication skills, both written and verbal; communicate insights effectively to internal stakeholders
Process & Methodology
Manage external research vendors, monitoring timelines, manage multiple concurrent projects
