The Role Fastmarkets is looking for a Price Reporter to report on pulp and paper markets in Europe. We are looking for an individual who is highly motivated, driven, and have a passion to be part of a fast-paced, successful team. Being a strong team player is also important as well as someone who is happy to work flexibly. We expect our reporters to develop a high level of market expertise in certain niche sectors, publish quality prices and insightful content in line with the company’s PRA approach, and work within a regional and global team to support the development and adoption of Fastmarkets' prices and embrace our EEI strategy (Expertise, Engagement & Innovation). Principal accountabilities * Foster in-depth knowledge of the fundamentals, supply chain, end-uses and key participants for specific markets to generate representative prices and world-class content * Collect pricing data and set prices in line with the company’s robust methodology, price specifications and IOSCO principles * Back colleagues up on their pricing patches to provide cover and consistency for the market and build up a wider knowledge base * Peer review prices to verify that processes have been followed and editorial judgement applied correctly to ensure our prices are representative * Write market commentaries, breaking news and i
