What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Associate degree or technical certification in facilities management, building systems, industrial maintenance, or related field, or equivalent practical experience, Basic understanding of building systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical equipment, Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, organizational skills with attention to detail, ability to manage multiple priorities, Excellent communication skills for coordinating with technicians, vendors, and operations personnel, Self-motivated with ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively with the broader facilities team, Willingness to walk the facility regularly and work in industrial manufacturing environments
Nice to Have
One to two years of experience in facilities, maintenance, or related technical environment
What You'll Do.
Establish and execute a comprehensive preventive maintenance program
Develop and maintain a structured preventive maintenance schedule
Create detailed work instructions and checklists
Schedule and coordinate preventive maintenance activities
Track work order completion rates
Adjust maintenance schedules based on equipment performance data
Conduct routine facility walkthroughs to inspect asset conditions
Document all preventive maintenance activities in the computerized maintenance management system
Build and maintain a comprehensive inventory of all facility assets
Develop asset tagging and identification systems
Compile manufacturer manuals
and technical specifications
Update asset records as equipment is added
Analyze equipment failure trends and maintenance history
Generate monthly reports on preventive maintenance completion rates
Serve as the point of contact for preventive maintenance scheduling
Communicate upcoming maintenance activities to relevant stakeholders
Monitor inventory levels and reorder as needed
Process vendor quotes and purchase requisitions
Support emergency maintenance activities
Participate in facility inspections and audits
How You'll Work.
Team & Collaboration
Coordinate with facilities team and outside contractors; Coordinate with production teams to minimize disruption; Collaborate effectively with the broader facilities team
Communication Scope
Excellent communication skills for coordinating with technicians, vendors, and operations personnel
