Must Have

1 + year of experience in truck or diesel equipment maintenance and repair OR completion of an accredited vocational or technical diesel program, Must supply basic personal tools and toolbox, Clean Motor Vehicle Report (MVR), Ability to work safely, follow procedures, communicate effectively, have a positive attitude with the desire to learn and grow in the role

Nice to Have

Welding experience preferred but not required

What You'll Do.

Perform preventive maintenance services and mechanical repairs on fleet vehicles and equipment

Conduct routine safety inspections to ensure compliance with company

Review and complete repairs identified on Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports (DVIRs)

Complete accurate documentation using fleet maintenance software

including parts usage and labor time

Communicate clearly with senior mechanic and/or Maintenance Manager regarding required repairs and vehicle status

Perform additional maintenance related tasks as needed
