**Title:** Pressure Vessel Systems Engineer **Belong. Connect. This role will be pivotal in ensuring compliance with NASA and ASME standards and supporting system owners/operators throughout the lifecycle of these systems. # # # Position Summary The contractor will provide technical and administrative support for pressure vessels, pressurized systems (PVS), and purge operations, as applicable. This role involves certification and oversight of ground-based PVS, ensuring compliance with NASA and ASME standards, and supporting system owners/operators throughout the lifecycle of these systems. ## ## ## Key Responsibilities * Review design documents for new, modified, or existing ground-based PVS to ensure compliance with NASA and ASME standards. * Provide review comments to owners/operators and the Pressure Systems Manager. * Certify and oversee ground-based pressure vessel systems. * Support system owners/operators throughout the lifecycle of PVS. * Ensure adherence to NASA-STD-8719.17 and ASME B31.3 Section VIII safety standards. * Apply non-destructive examination techniques and meet certification requirements. * Develop and implement maintenance, testing, and repair schedules for PVS. * Maintain accurate inventory, reporting, and discrepancy tracking for PVS. * Prepare safety plans and documentation for certification and compliance. * Hold and maintain technical certifications required for PVS operations. ## Required Skills/Knowledge * Experience with pressure vessels, pressurized systems, and related safety standards (NASA-STD-8719.17, ASME B31.3 Section VIII). * Familiarity with non-destructive examination techniques and certification requirements (SNT-TC-1A Level 2). *
