High School diploma or equivalent, 3+ years Manufacturing experience, 3+ years progressive die stamping press operation experience
What You'll Do.
Set up and operate heavy-duty power press
stretch and straighten products
Plan sequence of operations
Apply knowledge of materials
Assist setup and operate automatic presses
Operate multi-slide presses simultaneously
Check material for correct size and type
Adjust uncoiler and material rollers
Assist with set-up of progressive dies
Adjust stroke and feed
Check work in process
Ensure adherence to specifications
Move materials using lift truck or crane
Install and check safety devices
Report faulty equipment
Report unusual conditions to supervisor
Observe all prescribed safety rules
Maintain work area in neat and orderly condition
Perform other related duties as assigned

We are looking for candidates who are either **already local or open to relocating** to join our team. Relocation Assistance will be offered! In this position, you will get to: * Sets up and operates heavy-duty power press to bend, form, stretch and straighten a variety of products such as plates, extrusions, structural shapes, etc as specified by blueprints, layout, and templates. * Plans sequence of operations applying knowledge of materials. * Perform duties required to assist setup and operate multiple automatic and/or multi-slide presses simultaneously for a variety of stamping products. * Work from drawings, route sheets, schedules, written, and verbal instructions. * Check material for correct size and type, load coils, adjust uncoiler and material rollers. * Assist with set-up of complicated progressive dies, movable and stationary forming blocks, adjust stroke and feed as needed. * Use micrometers, calipers, scales, and fixed gauges to check work in process and ensure adherence to specifications. * Move materials in the performance of duties using lift truck or crane as necessary. * Install and check safety devices as needed for specific jobs. * Report faulty equipment, defective material and unusual conditions to supervisor. * Observe all prescribed safety rules and regulations and maintain work area in a neat and orderly condition. * Perform other related duties as assigned or directed, which may require
