What They're Looking For.
Must Have
BE degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Electronics, or Electronics & Communication, knowledge of ELV & ICT Systems (Fire Alarm System, CCTV, Access Control, PAVA, Intrusion Detection Systems, Intercom Systems, Gate Barriers, Car parking system, Structured Cabling, Network Switches, etc.), India projects' presales and estimation experience on various verticals (Transportation, Smart City, etc.), Design know-how of the ELV & ICT Systems, Know-how in ITMS, ATCS, traffic enforcement, surveillance, VMS, and Integrated Command & Control Centre (ICCC) solutions, Capable of understanding ELV Systems specifications and doing product selections along with the deviation/compliance statements, Basic knowledge of Enforcement Systems such as ANPR/LPR, Red Light Violation Detection (RLVD), Speed Violation Detection (SVD), No-Helmet Detection, etc., Design understanding of traffic controllers and field sensors, Experience in preparing HLD, LLD, system sizing, network diagrams, storage plans, and availability models, Capability to conduct customer workshops and technical training sessions, Must be able to work on complex costing sheets covering Material, Engineering, Operations, and Subcon costs, Skill in articulating offered solutions in a structured way through high-standard technical proposal documents, Must have a network with the 3rd party vendors in India, problem-solving skills, ability to learn quickly, Excellent written and verbal communication skills, Ability to demonstrate effective leadership and ownership in project and customer engagements

What You'll Do.
managing the end‑to‑end presales engineering activities for Transportation and Smart Infrastructure projects
covering ELV systems such as Fire Alarm
Public Address System
Parking Management System
Structured Cabling System
network Infrastructure
dealing with OEM’s of Intelligent Traffic Management System (ITMS) and Adaptive Traffic Control System (ATCS)
drive all techno‑commercial aspects of ELV systems within Transportation and smart infrastructure projects
take ownership of all technical considerations required to secure project wins
actively support the HOTO process
Conduct a detailed review of tender documents and inputs
Analyze project requirements and initiate kick‑off calls
Prepare system designs on provided floor plans and derive the BOQ
Identify potential technical or commercial risks
Engage with OEMs and subcontractors to obtain accurate technical solutions and proposals
Evaluate OEM proposals and commercial offers
Prepare optimized techno‑commercial costing sheets
and compliance statements
Perform self–quality checks and present solutions to design council experts
Conduct second‑level quality checks for deliverables prepared by other Application Engineers
Maintain up‑to‑date records in SFDC and complete timesheets and mandatory trainings on schedule
Negotiate with OEMs and coordinate with internal Ops/Post‑Sales teams
Participate actively in daily/cadence calls with business teams
Contribute to strategy discussions aimed at improving win rates
Align daily activities with organizational KPIs
Interact directly with customers to gather requirements and present solutions professionally
