What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline or a combination of education and experience that provides equivalent knowledge to a major in such fields, Fully authorized to work without sponsorship in US throughout the duration of the contract
Nice to Have
Experience performing reliability power system studies, Background in renewable generation resources – Wind, Solar, or Battery, Experience analyzing voltage levels and relay or protection settings, Python, PowerWorld, PSSE, PSCAD, Good communication skills with ability to collaborate and communicate with external entities
What You'll Do.
Perform reliability power system studies
Assess impact of inverter based-resource performance
Review technical data submissions
Ensure compliance with company requirements
Support development of processes and procedures
Provide technical support for project team
Develop processes to receive submissions
Review IBR performance
Coordinate with other departments
Work with market participants
Facilitate submissions
Implement modifications or exemptions
Review and evaluate requests for extensions
Recommend disposition of requests
Represent company in stakeholder groups
