## Description Power Systems Electrical Engineer Location: Marietta, OH Job Type: Full-Time, Direct Hire Compensation: Starting at $70,000 annually, with higher compensation available based on experience Position Overview We are seeking an Electrical Engineer to join a growing engineering team focused on the design, development, and support of electrical power distribution and protection equipment. This role offers the opportunity to work on innovative electrical systems that support product performance, reliability, safety, and compliance with industry standards. The ideal candidate will contribute to product development efforts, collaborate across engineering disciplines, and provide technical expertise throughout the product lifecycle. ## Key Responsibilities Develop electrical designs for power distribution and protection systems. Select and evaluate electrical components and interconnection hardware. Assist with thermal management solutions and mechanical integration concepts. Apply engineering principles involving analog and digital circuit design, magnetic components, and thermal performance. Create detailed engineering specifications and technical documentation. Design power and control circuits for switchboards and related equipment. Generate and maintain schematics, bills of materials, and design records. Support the integration and qualification of third-party electrical devices. Participate in design reviews to ensure product quality, reliability, and performance. Prepare customer-facing documentation, testing procedures, and engineering reports. Provide engineering support for both existing and newly released products. Perform hands-on troubleshooting and root-cause analysis of electrical systems and subsystems. Assist with product certification efforts and compliance activities involving UL, CSA, IEC, and related standards. ## Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE).
