Export Control Requirement: Due to applicable export control laws and regulations, candidates must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (i.e., current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum. Key job responsibilities This is an Electrical Systems Engineering position where you will own requirements, trade studies, and simulation analysis for the Leo satellite power system. In this role, you will build electrical models of the satellite power system and develop capability to assess solar array power generation over vehicle operating conditions and a range of orbital parameters. You will be responsible to create and manage simulations that analyze vehicle power demand in different power modes and investigate trade-studies to optimize performance of the system. You will perform trade studies to influence system architecture and sizing of solar array, battery, power conversion, and power distribution blocks.
