What They're Looking For.
Must Have
3+ years of experience in power system analysis or electrical design, Bachelor's or master's degree in electrical engineering, Proficiency with power system software such as SKM, ETAP, EasyPower, Windmil, or similar, Familiarity with NFPA 70E, IEEE standards, and utility interconnection processes, written and verbal communication skills, Technical writing ability and attention to detail, Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to job sites
Nice to Have
PE license or the ability to obtain one is a plus
What You'll Do.
Perform Arc Flash studies
Conduct Short Circuit studies
Perform Coordination studies and analyze customer protection issues
Conduct Load Flow studies and evaluate system loading
Perform Grounding studies and assess grounding system performance
Conduct Power Quality studies and analyze system disturbances
Perform feasibility studies for solar projects
Conduct Voltage Drop studies
Lead and support commissioning projects
Support testing and maintenance activities in the field
