Eligibility Requirements

Travel to customer sites, Available for occasional evening, weekend, holiday, and emergency work, Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, Ability to sit, stand, walk, stoop, kneel, and climb ladders, Tolerance to working in outdoor weather conditions and various environments, Ability to work in confined spaces and elevated areas, Travel to remote and on-site locations with varying conditions - up to 70%, Pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check

What They're Looking For.

Must Have

At least 5 years of experience in electrical apparatus testing and troubleshooting, Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and electrical drawings, Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and diagnostic software, critical thinking and problem-solving skills, Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record, Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check

Nice to Have

NETA or NICET certification, OSHA 30-hour, MSHA, NFPA 70E, CPR/First AidBP/AED training

What You'll Do.

and repair of electrical systems across generation

and commercial installations

Ensuring the integrity and reliability of high- and low-voltage systems

Travel to customer sites for inspection

and start-up on electrical systems (240V to 765kV)

Perform testing on power transformers (e. g.

Insulation Resistance) and collect oil samples

Test and troubleshoot protective relays

Test and troubleshoot instrument transformers and control circuits

Read and interpret schematics

and electrical drawings

Follow NETA ATS/MTS specifications and guidelines

and technical documentation

Provide excellent customer communication and service

Train apprentices and other team members

Conduct hands-on execution including start-up

Handle power delivery systems: transformers

and power control systems

Prepare and maintain detailed reports
